I get asked this question a lot, "I'm pregnant and I want to set up a maternity photo session, how far along should I be during our photo shoot?"

First off, congratulations!

I am so excited for you and your new addition to your family!  This is such a special time!

When scheduling your maternity session, you’ll want to schedule it after 30 weeks of your pregnancy.  By then you’re rocking your pregnancy glow and your beautiful bump.

A Note for High-Risk Pregnancies

For those expecting mommas out there who are considered high risk OR are pregnant with multiples, I do suggest scheduling your session during around 24 weeks.  With multiples, high blood pressure, and all of the other joys of pregnancy, there is a higher chance for bed rest. Rather than risk it, plan your session a month earlier than expected.
