Whether you’re here for a few days or have lived here for years, Santa Barbara has something for everyone! I’ve compiled some of my favorite spots to help you make the most of your time in Santa Barbara!

Old Santa Barbara Mission -

Making a stop at the area's namesake is a must! This historical landmark has so many spots that are a must-see! After stopping by the museum, check out the beautiful grounds and rose garden across the street.

East Beach -

East Beach is quintessential Southern California! The beach is stunning, perfect for a golden hour session, and let’s not forget the palm trees!

The Wharf -

California’s oldest working wharf has drop-dead views of the mountains and coast! The Sea Center is a great educational attraction for kids and adults alike. Grab a bite to eat or a scoop of ice cream, and then take in sites and sounds of the wharf!

Los Padres National Forest - Lizard’s Mouth -

While your family may not be up for a twenty-mile hike, this half-mile stroll through Los Padres National Forest will take you right to the rock formation of the Lizard’s Mouth! From there, trust me when I say the views are breathtaking!

Sunken Gardens -

Located on the courthouse grounds, the gardens are a great stop to enjoy a beautiful day outside! Pack a lunch, enjoy the grounds, and make your way up to the top of the clock tower! This 360 view of Santa Barbara is a stunning sight!

Santa Barbara truly has so many sites to see. Whether it’s for your session or to just enjoy your day, you can’t go wrong with each of these favorite local spots!
